CTN Spotlight on ... Ann!
CTNX: Hello Ann, it's a pleasure to speak with you! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
AC: I am Ann Nee Cheah who just freshly graduated from Academy of Art University, majoring in Visual Effects. I am from Malaysia but I stayed in San Francisco for almost 4 years.
CTNX: When and how did your relationship with CTN begin?
AC: I went to CTN at the year of 2015. My friends are the ones that told me about CTN and how I can take the opportunity to network with the industry people.
CTNX: What have your positions been with CTNX and what have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
AC: I never work in CTN before but I went there as a student, I did not know what to expect from my first CTNX and bought the cheapest ticket which was only limited to walking around the hall.
CTNX: What are your ultimate career goals?
AC: To achieve the best visual effects to support the story or game of a production.
CTNX: How does working with CTN help you meet those goals?
AC: Meeting people from different department help me understand and gives a different point of view besides Visual Effects. I may get new ideas and creativity from observing and networking with others.
CTNX: What have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
AC: I have not work with CTN before.
CTNX: What do you look forward to most in the coming years regarding your career?
AC: I know everyone from different companies.
