CTN Spotlight on ... Shammah!
CTNX: Hello Sam, it's a pleasure to speak with you! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
SM: I'm an art student at Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus OH
CTNX: When and how did your relationship with CTN begin?
SM: I am active with Women in Animation and they sent out a email stating CTN needed volunteers.
CTNX: What have your positions been with CTNX and what have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
SM: I was general staff. I helped man table for artist, help direct traffic and help others get to their panel
CTNX: What are your ultimate career goals?
SM: I want to be a storyboard artist for television.
CTNX: How does working with CTN help you meet those goals?
SM: Working with CTN gives me the opportunity to make friends with people have the same interests as me. Gives me the opportunity to meet people I wouldn't normally have the possibility to do so
CTNX: What have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
SM: How to direct loud crowds and how to multitask.
CTNX: What do you look forward to most in the coming years regarding your career?
SM: I look forward to working in the industry and creating stories that future generations can look back at and enjoy.
