Safety Guidelines
Maintaining health and safety protocols is critical to providing a safe environment for staff and visitors of all ages, including those people who cannot be vaccinated. The CTN animation expo event is an in-person, indoors, outdoors and virtual online event. The following policies are in place to keep you and our staff safe in-person:
Vaccination OR Negative COVID-19 Test: In order to visit the CTN animation eXpo in-person indoor or outdoor event, visitors ages 18 and up must show proof of either a vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test which was taken within 72 hours before arrival at the event. Digital records displayed on a phone or physical cards are acceptable proof.
Acceptable forms of proof of negative test are:
A printed document, email or text message on paper or displayed on a phone from a test provider or laboratory. The information should include person's name, type of test performed, and negative test result (date of test must be within prior 72 hours.) A PCR or antigen (i.e., “rapid”) test is acceptable.
Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination are:
A digital vaccination record, vaccination card or photo/digital copy of vaccination card on paper or displayed on a phone (including name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided, and date last dose administered)
Advance Tickets Required: All attendees must have purchased their ticket in advance online and panels and screenings will utilize reserved seating. Capacity is limited and walk-up tickets are not being offered.
Face Masks: In alignment with Public Health policy, face masks are required for all visitors regardless of vaccination status at all times indoors.
Symptom Check: Visitors who are feeling sick or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (such as cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fever, chills, or any other symptoms), or who have had contact with anyone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19, should stay home, regardless of vaccination status. Please note that visitors displaying COVID-19 symptoms will not be allowed to enter the event and their ticket will be forwarded to 2022 or be given a refund by emailing help@ctnexpo.com
Visitor Conduct: All visitors are required to follow CTN’s policies. Abusive, harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior toward CTN staff will not be tolerated. CTN reserves the right to require visitors whose conduct violates these policies to leave immediately.
Risk: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. CTN follows all applicable public health orders and guidance, but by visiting, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and you will be asked to sign a waiver when you are checked in.
We appreciate your cooperation during this unprecedented time.
