RAISING THE BAR RECRUITING (RBR)
Raise the Bar the Recruiting is a pre-selection process that takes place with recruiters from feature film, television and game studios that are potentially looking to cast for their projects. It is like Zip Recruiter where submissions are previewed online by recruiters and those selected will be given an appointment for an interview that will take place onsite at the event in the recruiting lounge with that recruiter. Scheduled appointment times are at the descretion of the recruiter. Those not selected are encouraged to visit those same studios on the exhibit floor to receive a portfolio critique and get feedback from one of their artist professionals.
Note: This is a service provided by CTN to help promote connecting with employment opportunities and a job interview. CTN does not guarantee employment from this service. Not everyone is selected for an interview. Selections are at the discretion of the recruiter. CTN is not involved in the selection process.
We have realized that some confusion is arising from a misunderstanding between “Raise the Bar Recruiting” and “Portfolio Critiques (and the word reviews)” . They are two separate events and we hope this clears it up.

Artist Portfolio Upload Opens October 8th, 2021 11:59PM PST.
Artist Portfolio Upload Closes November 5th, 2021 11:59PM PST.
Applicants are notified of their status by November 15th, 2021
Interviews are conducted via zoom at an employers convenience or onsite during the event in the RECRUITING LOUNGE
