CTN Spotlight on ... Kelly!
CTNX: Hello Kelly, it's a pleasure to speak with you! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
KN: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I am from Riverside county. I am a recent animation graduate from California State University Fullerton.
CTNX: When and how did your relationship with CTN begin?
KN: I started to volunteer at CTN in 2013. I heard about CTN looking for volunteers from the Pencil Mileage Club (our school's animation club). I found this a great opportunity, and I have been volunteering ever since.
CTNX: What have your positions been with CTNX and what have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
KN: think I had almost every volunteer position- crowd control, booth buddy, door watch, etc. I definitely learned more on how to be a team player and gained more skills in networking.
CTNX: What are your ultimate career goals?
KN: My ultimate career goals are to eventually produce my own animated series, animated films, and comic series.
CTNX: How does working with CTN help you meet those goals?
KN: Working with CTN helps me gain connections with like-minded professionals, as well as helps me put myself out there.
CTNX: What have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?

CTNX: What do you look forward to most in the coming years regarding your career?
KN: From working with fellow volunteers and staff, I learned a lot about teamwork. I also learned so much about building a solid portfolio from professional critiques and critiques from fellow colleagues.
