CTNX: Hello Jacqueline, it's a pleasure to speak with you! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
JM: Hi! My name is Jacqueline Molina and I am currently an undergraduate student at California State University. I am majoring in Art with a Concentration in Animation. I live in Burbank, California.
CTNX: When and how did your relationship with CTN begin?
JM: I found out about CTN through the annual CTN Roadtrip in Burbank two years ago. I recently went to the CTNX Expo last year for my first time.
CTNX: What have your positions been with CTNX and what have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
JM: I volunteered to help at CTNX with my peers and helped restock items that were being bought. I also helped people with where certain panels and events were happening.
CTNX: What are your ultimate career goals?
JM: I want to be able to push beyond my boundaries and be able to make my own stories. I want to help inspire people to present new ideas and approaches to storytelling, since I think I can provide a new perspective to my fellow team members.
CTNX: How does working with CTN help you meet those goals?
JM: CTN helps me meet these goals by providing me the opportunity to understand the scope of the animation industry, giving me advice on how to build my portfolio, and how to better promote myself as an artist.
CTNX: What have you learned most from your experience working with CTN?
JM: I learned that everyone that works at CTN is important to making things run more smoothly, it is never too late for becoming a better artist and that everything should be seen as an opportunity for growth.
CTNX: What do you look forward to most in the coming years regarding your career?
JM: I look forward to how my style will develop, being able to work on shows or movies, and getting to meet many more inspiring and driven people interested in animation.
